Recruitment Notice for Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Authority

The Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Authority invites applications for filling up of the following posts on deputation basis for its Head of Office at New Delhi.

AGE LIMIT FOR ALL POSTS:

Candidates should not exceed 56 years of age on the closing date of the receipt of the application. The eligibility, educational qualifications, experience and other conditions for the posts are given here under;-

REGISTRAR- 

(Number of post -2) - (Pay Scale - PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 and other admissible allowances as per Central Government Rules)

ESSENTIAL:

1. Educational Qualifications:- Master's degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Genetics/Agricultural Botany/Seed Science and Technology or Forestry/Horticulture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
2. Experience:- Officers under Central or State Governments or Union Territories or PSUs or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Indian Council of Agricultural Research having proven managerial, legal or Intellectual Property Rights or Agricultural development experience and
possessing the following experience: -
i. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
or
ii. With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.7600/- or With ten years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
DESIRABLE: Ph. D with at least three years of research experience in Seed Development Programme/ Intellectual Property Rights and Plant Varietal Improvement activities/Tree improvement.

JOINT REGISTRAR-

 (Number of post-1) (Pay Scale-PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 7600 and other admissible allowances as per Central Government Rules)

ESSENTIAL:

1. Educational Qualifications:- Master's degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Genetics/Agricultural Botany/Seed Science and Technology or Forestry/ Horticulture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
2. Experience:- Officers under Central or State Governments or Union Territories or PSUs or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Indian Council of Agricultural Research possessing the following experience.
i. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
or
ii. With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-. DESIRABLE: Ph. DEPUTY REGISTRAR-

 (Number of post -1)- (Pay Scale-PB-3 Rs. 15600- 39100 with grade pay of Rs. 6600 and other admissible allowances as per Central Government Rules)

ESSENTIAL:

1. Educational Qualifications:- Master's degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Genetics/Agricultural Botany/Seed Science and Technology or Forestry/ Horticulture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
2. Experience:- Officers under Central or State Governments or Union Territories or PSUs or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Indian Council of Agricultural Research and possessing the following experience.
i. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
or
ii. With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-.
DESIRABLE: Ph.D. with research experience in Seed Development Programme/ Intellectual Property Rights and Plant Varietal Improvement activities/Tree Improvement.

While forwarding the application, the forwarding authority may verify that the particulars furnished by the applicant are correct and that no Vigilance case is either pending and/or contemplated against him/her and also that no major/minor penalty has been imposed on him/her during the last 10 years.
The applications received without attested copies of ACRs/APARs, Vigilance Clearance certificate, integrity certificate and statement of major/minor penalty, if any imposed during the last 10 years, or otherwise found incomplete or received after the last date of receipt of application will not be entertained.
